Monica Guggisberg - Philip Baldwin

Philip Baldwin was born in New York in 1947. Monica Guggisberg was born in Bern in 1955. Both studied with Wilke Adolfsson and Ann Wolff in Sweden. They have shared a studio near Lausanne since 1982.
Scandinavian and Venetian glassmaking techniques come together in their pieces. As freelance designers they have designed successful products for international glassmanufactures since 1985. Their clients have included renowned firms like Rosenthal, Steuben, Corning and Venini. Collaboration with Venini continues today. The list of museums and collections which have aquired their works is long and impressive. Individual showings, as well as participation in group shows, have given them opportunities to present their works at leading galleries and in major museums in Europe, Japan and the United States. Their works rank among the best to be founs in the international glass art scene.
Now the Galerie B, International Studioglas, in Sinzheim/Baden-Baden (Germany) is showing the latest work of Monica Guggisberg and Philip Baldwin.
